At application start-up, on versions of Windows 95 and above, the application will detect all modems known to the operating system. Depending on the capabilities of each installed modem, the application will extend its functionality to include:
An answering machine that knows whether someone is home or not alleviates callers from having to wait 5 rings to leave a message. Relying on your children to tell you who called is like 'hoping' you win the lottery. Simply ask the application, 'Did Mike call today?" and without delay, you'll get an answer. A Dynamic Answering Machine that can call you when Motion has been detected in your Garage while you're away or when a specific caller has left you a message. These capabilities, integrated with X10 and Client/Server Internet functionality, creates a powerful telephony system - controllable via X10 controllers, Touch Tone Modems, Speech or event driven conditions within the environment the application is run.
System Requirements: Windows 95,98,NT,ME,2000,XP TAPI Compliant Voice Modem In order to be able to receive Caller ID information you have to subscribe to a Call Display service from your telephone company. |
