I am currently Team Lead on the Graphical RTS Support Team.  My responsibilities consist of coordinating the day-to-day activities of 5 team members; assigning support related tasks, ensuring 99.9% up-time of systems, developing on-call support procedures and ensuring Vantive/Problem Tickets are resolved within a 7-day turn-around.  Systems supported are Graphical Worklist (GWL), Expediting, Profile Maintenance, Graphical Order Create, Project & Tracking System (PATs), Central Order Data (COD), Centralized Customer, Service Provider Net (SPN), Vendor Provider Net (VPN) and ExpoNET.  Technologies supported are MVS COBOL, Webshpere MQ, Informix, Optio & Java/JRun.

My past responsibilities have consisted of Project Management,  Systems Architecting & Full Life Cycle Development, i.e. Centralized Customer, Y2K Compliancy, E-Commerce, Globalization, Call Center Support & Emerging Businesses (Home Depot Landscape Supply). Assisted in design & development of Java Servlet(s) which accept Customer/Order related data from Broadvision (Web Page) interfaced to the Informix Database via XML. Architected Customer Identification Systems/Tiered Pricing (via Point Of Sale & Special Services) utilizing customer assigned (bar-coded) KeyTags. Assisted with Centralizing Customer Data across 1500+ stores, utilizing RPC for real-time data retrieval from Informix, Java & COBOL. Travel as required (Quebec, New York, Dallas). Oversee team of 4 to 5 contractors, assigning support related programming tasks. Project Management - Email Capture, Customer Care Reporting, Call Center Activation.   J2EE, XML, Novera, JRun, TogetherJ (UML), JPadPro (IDE), RMI, ESQL, RPC, JDBC.

Returned to Alert/ADT as a Consultant (Berger & Co.) during the winter of 1996 where I assisted in converting Alerts’ Informix DBMS to Sybase, ADT’s RDBMS of choice.
