To customize modem properties:

  1. Select the node for which you wish to modify properties.

  2. Select the Properties Icon from the Node Bar or pop-up menu:

                            

       

The following window will be displayed:

       

Maximum Log Size (rows)

Maximum number of history entries that are maintained by the application for this node (10-100).  History entries are displayed in the Log Window when the node is selected from TreeHouse Automation Console.

Reset Defaults

Resets Maximum Log Size to 100, enables Log to Parent, disables Log to File, Caller ID Pop-Up, Auto Answer and Reject Private/Out of Area Calls.

Answer Modes

Allows set-up of customized answer modes:

Recognition Engine

Location Properties

Allows Native set-up of Phone and Modem Properties:

Modem Properties

Allows Native set-up of Connecton Properties:

Line Properties

Same as Modem Properties (for modems that don't support lines).

Log to Parent

Determines whether history entries are logged to this nodes Parent.

Log to File

Determines whether history entries are logged to an external log file.  External log files are created in the Logs Folder, beneath the treehouse working directory.  External log files are named identical to the name of the node being logged.

Caller ID Pop-Up

If your modem supports caller-id and you receive caller-id service from you local phone company, this setting will display a pop-up for each incoming call received:

Reject Private/Out of Area Calls

If your modem supports caller-id and you receive caller-id service from you local phone company, this setting will reject calls from "Private" or "Out of Area" callers.

Auto Answer

This setting will answer the phone with rules from the assigned Answer Mode.
