A New Media Event is automatically created for a modem device.  The New Media Event is activated when the modem device records a voice message to disk.  The Status of the New Media Event indicates how many unheard media clips exists:

Media clips are stored in a "messages" directory beneath the treehouse working directory.  The files are named according to the date, time the media clip was recorded.

<date>T<time><N>ot heard -or- <H>eard.WAV

To hear media clips:

  1. From the Node Bar, click to Voice Message Playback icon .  The Voice Message Playback icon will only appear if there are media clips that have not yet been heard.

From the Options Menu, select Voice Messages:

  1. Select the clip to be viewed from the file selection dialog:
