Requirements

You do not need to be a programmer to test the software.

You do need:

  • To currently own the latest beta version of Java 1.6/6.0.

  • Be thoroughly familiar with the current release of the beta version of Java 1.6/6.0 product.

  • Be willing to test every function, and work with the developer in correcting errors (re-testing).

  • Spend up to a few hours testing (the actual time will depend on the features used within the application) over the testing period, typically a few weeks.

  • Have access to the latest version of the Linux/Windows OS.

  • The ability to test on a private and secure platform (it must be your computer, and it must not be in a shared environment).

  • To agree to our Testing Agreement below.

Additionally it would be beneficial if you had access to X10/Insteon equipment and accessories.

In addition to the latest Java Runtime Environment, a separate install of the following extensions may be required:
