What you need prior to downloading TreeHouse Automation Console:

To currently own the latest beta version of Java 1.6/6.0.
Be willing to test every function, and work with the developer in correcting errors (re-testing).
Spend up to a few hours testing (the actual time will depend on the features used within the application) over the testing period, typically a few weeks.
Have access to the latest version of the Linux/Windows OS/Apple OS.
Have access to X-10 equipment and accessories.
The ability to test on a private and secure platform (it must be your computer, and it must not be in a shared environment).
To agree to our Testing Agreement below.

Testing Agreement:

I agree to: 1. Test the software and the majority of its functions, and provide a report back to edtreehouse.com of the functions tested and the results of the tests. 2. Re-test the functions for which you found a bug once corrected by the developer. 3. Not disclose any information about the software or the software itself. 4. Remove the beta software on completion of beta testing. 5. Backup my data before using beta software, so as not to hold edtreehouse.com responsible for loss of data, or changes to my system as a result of installing beta software. 6. Not work for, or be associated with any software development or business which develops similar or competing products. 7. Not reverse engineer or attempt to de-compile the beta software.
